If you have had your eye on the Mercedes-Benz C-Class, now could be the perfect time to make the upgrade you have been dreaming about. It also offers performance updates and a few new features. Our Mercedes-Benz sales reps are available to help you uncover the many exciting differences between the two model years.
Performance
For both 2021 and 2022, the Mercedes-Benz C-Class is equipped with a turbo 2.0-liter, four-cylinder gas engine. In 2022, the engine gets a boost with a new 48-volt mild-hybrid system. This steps horsepower production up to 255 horsepower and improves fuel economy. Across all trims for both years, the C-Class is equipped with rear-wheel drive and nine-speed auto transmission. Optional all-wheel drive is available.
Appearance
The 2022 C-Class has been completely restyled with a longer, flowing hood and graceful side accents. The teardrop-shaped LED headlights are not topped by a light bar. The nose is relatively flat, and it features an A-frame grille with a stardust mesh pattern and a horizontal accent bar. With beautiful differences between the 2021 and 2022 C-Class, you can take your time admiring the improvements during your next visit to Mercedes-Benz of Des Moines.
Features
The interior design has been refreshed as well. The most prominent difference is the larger touch display screen that stands vertically in the central stack. It is canted slightly toward the driver for a focused feel. The digital driver’s gauge panel has also been redesigned and is mounted lower toward the steering wheel. For both model years, the C-Class has an MBUX infotainment system, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a blind-spot monitor, forward collision mitigation, leather seats with heating elements, ambient light, an augmented navigation system, a wireless charging station, automated parking assistance, a heads-up display screen and more.
