Mercedes-Benz gave its GLA 250 crossover a substantial overall in 2021. Fresh off of so many exciting improvements, the 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLA 250 is identical to its predecessor. This is a subcompact luxury crossover that offers space for five passengers. It displays a stunning, flowing facade that pleases the eye and has exciting capabilities.
The GLA 250 is styled with a short, angled nose that trends toward a black grille with vertical bars. The lower-front design has a classy look, with horizontal elements crossing through the air intakes. The substantial LED headlights have upper and lower accents. Across the sides, you can appreciate thin, black molding and scooped door contouring. The GLA 250 has rain-sensing wipers, a power liftgate, heated side mirrors, and 18-inch alloy wheels. The GLA’s more advanced trims have 21-inch alloy wheels, a hands-free liftgate, adaptive headlights, auto high beams, heated windshield wipers, and other exterior features.
The 2023 GLA is offered with three powertrain systems. The entry-level GLA 250 engine is a 221-horsepower, turbo 2.0-liter, four-cylinder unit connected to an eight-speed auto, dual-clutch transmission. The AMG® performance engine is a high-powered variant of this same four-cylinder engine and delivers 302 horsepower. The AMG® engine combines several driving modes, 4MATIC® all-wheel drive, and the same dual-clutch transmission. A more advanced AMG® engine produces 382 horsepower and comes with fully variable torque distribution with its drivetrain.
The GLA 250’s cabin features and safety equipment are equally noteworthy. This trim level has a dual-zone auto climate control system, simulated leather material, sport front seats, driver’s memory settings, a blind-spot monitor, forward collision mitigation, the MBUX system, a pair of 7-inch central display screens, Mercedes Me, and more.
